Our investment strategy is designed to bring investors the expected profit in the long term while minimizing potential risks through portfolio diversification.

 

  1. We are the first and only qualified investor fund licensed by the Czech National Bank in the Czech Republic and Central Europe focused on investments in investment wine, offering investments in CZK in French wines.

  2. The bank's supervision with the function of depositary over us is performed by UniCredit Bank Czech Republic and Slovakia, as, the administrator is RSJ Custody sro, the internal auditor is Compllex, sro, and the statutory auditor is TPA Audit sro.

  3. We build on the many years of experience of Zlatko Mička, a renowned Czech expert and trader of investment wines.

  4. We purchase investment wines thanks to the allocations we have received directly from French producers at the most favorable prices.

  5. We have a license to trade on the London Investment Wine Exchange LIV-EX through founding partner and portfolio manager Lenka Fernandes.

  6. We charge lower management fees than foreign funds. Our fee structure is dependent on the achieved value of investors' investments.

Zlatko Míčka
Member of the Board of Directors and Senior Portfolio Manager

Leading Czech sommelier and wine investment expert, founder and owner of Merlot d'Or sro, a major Czech importer of French wines.

As a Portfolio Manager, he focuses on purchases for direct sales and investment warehouses, selection of En Primeur allocations, and investment advice.

Every year it organizes the Grand Crue Classé Audience, the largest tasting of Grand Crue Classé wines from Bordeaux in Central Europe.

Zlatko Míčka is the vice-president of the Association of Sommeliers of the Czech Republic, the president of the Sommelier Club de Bourgogne, and a member of other organizations such as the Commanderie du Bontemps Médoc et Graves Bordeaux.

From 1997 to 2009, he served as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Agropol Group, where he was responsible for managing investments, acquisitions and mergers within the holding, managing receivables and payables, and creating a financial and investment plan for the holding with an annual turnover exceeding CZK 12 billion.

The world of investment wines has attracted Marek Hofta with its many years of history and long-term results. Through Wine Investment Partners, he wants to provide investors from the Czech Republic with the opportunity to value their finances by investing in top wines through an investment fund, as is possible in developed European or American markets.

Users of these pages and those interested in information or investment in Wine Investment Partners SICAV as are expressly advised, in accordance with the Act on Investment Companies and Investment Funds, that investments in the qualified investor fund, which is Wine Investment Partners SICAV as, can also be offered publicly in the Czech Republic, however, only a qualified investor can become a partner in this fund.

 

A qualified investor is defined by the relevant provisions of the aforementioned Act, and in the case of natural persons, it may be, in particular, a person whose paid-up deposit or paid-up investment in this fund corresponds to at least EUR 125,000 and who has made a declaration that he is aware of the risks associated with investing in this qualified investor fund.
